Nachos were great. The catfish is the Swai Catfish. Friendly waiters. Hushpuppies were fire.
A welcoming place that actually serves up excellent dishes(still:) is a sad commentary on todays life if your simply blown away by the basically polite intellingent people at Pig&Whistle. Cleaned out our plates:) fish & bbq
The PIG and Whistle is the only place I take out of town visitors. My favorite dishes, dry rib rack. The cat fish would be better in steak cut. But still tasty. New location again.
This is the first time since they moved to their new location. We went on Valentine's Day evening, while busy, much of it was takeout. My spouse and I opted to eat there. He ordered the brisket and I ordered the catfish/shrimp basket. The portions were large and both tasted great. I gave it a 4 on atmosphere because, as great as the food tasted, I did wish it had better atmosphere. The lights were super bright and I think if it could have been dimmed somewhat, it would have felt more cozy. We did enjoy the music playing, probably a collection of oldies, which was just the right volume to allow for conversation. Also, and most important, the two of us ate for just at $40, which I haven't done in a while. All in all, we enjoyed the experience and know it won't be our last visit.
My first time at this location. Service was great. Food was hot & fresh. Nice casual, family-friendly restaurant atmosphere. Definitely going back to try more from the menu.
Been coming to Memphis area for work since 2020 and really haven’t been to impressed by the majority of bbq joints…Until I went to Pig and Whistle got the King combo and every bit of it was good down to the basket of bread.Highly recommend stopping in gonna go back and get the smoked cheeseburger! Mind you my buddy is a big time bbq and smoker guy hardcore about his bbq and he was impressed too,staff is super friendly the young lady working the counter was very kind.
Good food price wasnt to bad couldnt eat potato salad because allergic other than that pretty good may go back. Also the waiter with the glasses she was helpful and pretty attractive/cute also.
